INKHAUS EVENT ~ SOUL BEAT BOOTIQUE ~ NYE RESOLUTION

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

“Get up, get into it, and get involved!” ~ James Brown may have made this soul phrase popular, but Inkhaus is taking it to the next level! Not only are we designing the promo material (see below), but we’re performing at the event! Developing our Radiolab & Soul Beat Bootique, respectively, is just one of many ways we’re integrating who we are into what we do. Because effective marketing is about more than flashy design & clever copy! ;)

INKHAUS RADIOLAB ~ FAVATA ~ SIMPLE TROUBLE

Friday, December 5th, 2008

I love the creative process ~ the medium is almost secondary to the actual feeling itself. The idea.

I wrote “Simple Trouble” on Election Night, as the polls were being counted. I kept a web browser open, checking in every 30 minutes or so to see how far ahead Barack Obama had climbed. I finished the 1st draft of the tune as he was beginning his acceptance speech. Usually when I’m composing in Reason, I don’t have any other music or news or anything on. I kind of retreat into my shell and dig around for what is, hopefully, some Inspirato. Because Inspirato cannot be manufactured.

But this was a little different, and I can’t help feeling that maybe I was just a little more hopeful that evening ~ we all have our own ways of documenting important moments in our lives, and writing music is one of mine.

bon appetit!

SAGO PLANTATION DISCOVERY PACKAGE AD CAMPAIGN

Friday, November 7th, 2008

Inkhaus was asked to develop an ad campaign for Sago Plantation at Legends. Recent shifts in our local market demanded a campaign driven by innovation, with accountability at its core. The campaign started with a print mailer and was followed up by an e-newsletter. With custom email marketing the client was able to see real time stats on how many emails reached their target destination, who viewed the email, how many times they viewed, and which links were visited from the newsletter.

Our clients are happy to report that they received solid leads directly from this campaign ~ real estate tours were booked, driving business to these developments. This kind of campaign is effective because it is designed to sort those prospects who are actively interested in investing.

INKHAUS EVENT ~ LITTLE CITY MUSICAL THEATRE CO. ~ ROCKY HORROR

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Charleston, SC-based Little City Musical Theatre Co. was looking to make a splash on the regional theatre scene. They decided to produce a revival of Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show Live! This would be their 2nd production as an incorporated theatre group, and they wanted to represent their brand properly. Inkhaus Creative Director Sam Favata was hired to play guitar in the show. He seized the opportunity to bring the two businesses together, and a flyer design was commissioned.

Inkhaus created this flyer design ~ a hip, modern take on the classic iconography of the show. The production received rave reviews, and future performances are being planned. We look forward to working with Little City again, as we love to see fellow independent businesses grow and thrive. As Dr. Frank N. Furter would advise: “Don’t dream it, be it!”

SAGO PLANTATION AT LEGENDS WEBSITE DESIGN

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

When INKHAUS was asked to re-imagine the Legends development’s Sago Plantation web presence, we knew there was no need to “guild the lily”. Since Sago is a project that practically sells itself ~ 3 award winning golf courses nestled among 400+ acres of primo residential property in a choice location doesn’t hurt ~ we concentrated on a design that would serve the client in several unique ways.

First, we made sure that the home page gave potential homeowners access to any & all info they might need: full-color maps of the developments’ featured amenities, actual building plats that clients can view, download and print—even mortgage contacts are made available to prospective buyers. A HUD report is also available; Legends realtors are as invested in the protection of clients’ assets as they are in expanding them. And with an INKHAUS-designed web presence, those assets are most assuredly expanding!

THE DIVINE GROUP’S NEWEST ENDEAVOR: THE RETREAT

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

As if great food and fun weren’t enough, Divine Dining has a new endeavor: The Divine Group. Focusing on property development in one of the Nation’s fastest growing markets, the Divine Group came to Inkhaus with a unique assignment: developing a brand and image that would command attention in a competitive local market. Additionally, we were honored with the challenge to build a website for the Divine Group’s fledgling project — The Retreat. Located in the heart of the Grand Strand, this ultra-exclusive community boasts fewer-than-one-dozen home sites; each has been uniquely developed and designed with natural harmony in mind. Top-shelf builders Nations Homes work with prospective buyers to create a luxurious living space that compliments the beautiful surroundings of the Divine Group’s one-of-a-kind development.
